Damp Proof Membrane

Toughsheet – Black

Damp proof membranes (DPMs)! Those trusty heroes of the construction world, battling against moisture and keeping buildings dry.

DPMs are thin sheets of material, usually plastic, that act as a barrier against moisture. They're used in various parts of a building to prevent rising damp and groundwater from entering.

Common areas include under concrete slabs, behind cavity walls, and beneath timber floors.

A damp proof membrane or DPM is a versatile product and can also be used for a wide range of applications such as creating a protective surface before laying laminate or wood floors
