RTRMAX Brick Bolster

RTRMAX - Brick Bolster

A heavy duty hand tool used by bricklayers and masons to make clean straight cuts through bricks, blocks and stones

• Wide, Flat Blade: The blade is typically 100mm (4 inches) wide, which allows it to cover the width of a standard brick. This width ensures the scoring line is even, resulting in a cleaner snap.
• Bevelled Edge:

The cutting edge is intentionally thick and bevelled rather than razor-sharp, allowing it to fracture dense masonry materials rather than trying to shave them.
• Domed or Striking Head: The top of the handle is designed to take repeated, direct hits from a heavy hammer. Many modern versions feature an anti-mushrooming head to prevent the steel from splitting or flaking off after heavy use.
• Hand Guard: Most modern brick bolsters are fitted with a thick rubber or plastic hand guard just below the striking head. This protects your knuckles and hand from accidental hammer overstrikes
